THE LITTLE STORY

Nordhavn is intentionally plain, allowing material and proportion to carry the design. Its uniform tone and clean field suggest the stillness of a northern harbour—open, uncluttered, and defined by a steady horizon. Where alpaca is used, the fibre’s natural performance (warmth with low bulk) supports the piece’s purpose: comfort without heaviness. A restrained fringe provides movement at the edge, but the overall impression remains calm and architectural. Nordhavn is meant to live on a sofa, a reading chair, or the end of a bed as an anchor piece—quiet, reliable, and easy to combine with stronger textures nearby.
